Scone News - You Can Ring My Bell

Hope everyone had a nice Thanksgiving and ate sufficient amounts of turkey, gravy, stuffing, mashed potatoes, cranberry sauce and green beans. MMMM…I can smell it all over again. Thanks to all of you who ordered scones and stuff for your feast. Glad I could be a part of your celebration! Let me know if you need anything for the upcoming holidays. See attached PDF for Mrs. Larkin’s Holiday menu.

The house smells so good right now. I’m baking pumpkin bread (it is really really good) for the Pancake Breakfast bake sale on Saturday. Slathered with butter. Cup of tea on the side. Hits that sweet spot fo shizzle. Hopefully, I will be able to produce said pumpkin bread on Saturday, and not eat it all beforehand.

So if you’re wondering “What will Mrs. Larkin do with herself during the long, dark days of winter, when she could be out at the Farmers Market every Sunday freezing her patootee off selling scones?”, I’ll tell you…

This Sunday, December 7th, I won’t be down on the corner BUT I will have a limited supply of MINI chocolate chip, cranberry-orange, and blueberry scones here at Scone Headquarters (a.k.a. 22 Lower Trinity Pass, Pound Ridge, just a hop-skip from the corner.) Smaller than the regular scone (hence the “mini”), they’re available at bargain-basement scone prices; $2 each. Come on by and snatch ‘em up (and pay for them, of course.) First come, first served. You snooze, you lose.

The early bird catches the worm, er, mini scone.

Love,
Mrs. Larkin
